Elderbrook is an English electronic musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ. He kicked off his career in 2015 when he released his first EP containing the song “How Many Times.” The track went on to be remixed by German duo Andhim and ranked one of Mixmag’s best songs of 2015. Following the success of his first EP, he released a second in the same year. ‘Travel Slow’ contained three tracks, “Be There Soon”, “Good Enough” and “Travel Slow”. He also released a number of well-known remixes of songs – they mostly performed well on the Billboard charts.
His debut studio album came in 2020 with ‘Why Do We Shake in the Cold?’ The album includes the single “Something About You” with Rudimental, which reached number eighty-seven on the UK Singles Chart. Prior to this, he released a collaboration with CamelPhat on 2017’s “Cola.” The track pushed Elderbrook to international success and earned him a Grammy Award nomination.
This year, he returned to the scene with a new album, three years after his debut. The album titled ‘Little Love’ is an introspective take on dance and electronic music, with a surprising theme at its heart – fatherhood. “With the album, I’ve tried to merge it with the indie background that I came from musically”, the DJ recently said in an interview, “and merged all these house and dance sonics with some of the songwriting I was doing before.”
He said in an interview with CULTR, “It became clear that the overarching theme was about the messages I’d want to share with my children as they grow older. We all lived through such a bizarre and difficult few years during the pandemic but I was given the greatest gift and biggest responsibility of all in that time, and it seemed only fitting that my second album be a dedication to that, to them, my little loves.”
When Elderbrook hits the Red Rocks stage with Cannons, EMBRZ, and QRTR next year, you can expect it to be a mind blowing night. Get ready for this! Grab your tickets today!
